Health practices get lending policy most businesses don't. We know which lenders offer it, and how to present your numbers.
Buy premises through your SMSF
Since 10 August 2026, SMSFs can only borrow for business real property. If your clinic pays rent, that may mean buying the building.
Buy your premises outright
No stamp duty on qualifying commercial property in SA. Company, trust or personal structures.
Upgrade your home
Lenders that add back depreciation and interest and read company and trust income properly.
Consolidate debts
Fit-out, car, cards and ATO plans reviewed together, with the trade-offs laid out plainly.
Fit-out finance
Up to 100% with some lenders, so cash stays in the practice.
Equipment finance
Dental chairs, imaging, shockwave, rehab gym, IT. Financed over the years it earns.
Buy a practice or buy in
Goodwill finance for health professionals, which most businesses can't get.
Cash flow & vehicles
Overdrafts for NDIS and health fund payment gaps, and cars for mobile clinicians.
No stamp duty on commercial property in SA. Your landlord knew that.
South Australia abolished stamp duty on qualifying non-residential property from 1 July 2018. For Adelaide clinic owners still paying rent, owning the building, personally, through a company or trust, or through your SMSF, can cost less up front than you'd expect.
Applies to qualifying non-residential land transfers in SA. Confirm with your conveyancer.Built for practice owners, not generic borrowers.

Book a 15-minute call →Do you give SMSF advice?
No. We arrange the SMSF loan. Whether buying property in your super fund suits you is a question for a licensed financial adviser and your accountant, and we're happy to work alongside them.
Do lenders need two years of financials?
Many do. Some will assess your latest year of business income, and many add back items like depreciation and interest. Which lender fits depends on your structure and how long the practice has been trading.
Can my practice really borrow against goodwill?
Often, yes. Several lenders have specific policy for medical, dental and allied health practices covering goodwill, fit-out and premises. Terms and limits vary by lender and profession.
Will consolidating my debts save money?
Sometimes. A lower rate or a single repayment can help, but stretching short-term debts over a longer term can increase the total interest you pay. We lay out the trade-offs before you decide.
